Eastlands Homes, a subsidiary of One Manchester, is a not-for-profit housing association operating across east and south east Manchester. Over the past 13 years, the organisation has invested £160 million on improving homes and so far, more than 40,000 improvements have been completed.
This investment included a review of IT and associated platforms. This identified a number of requirements, including the pressing need for new mobile device and data capture network-supported technologies to provide the platform for the delivery of improved frontline services.
Calibre’s solution, developed around new Wi-Fi and related services, has seen the propagation of a raft of integrated infrastructure technologies that are enabling Eastlands Housing to improve on-site services for thousands of customers across its patch.
Implementation of the improvement programme is part of the Government-backed digital inclusion funding view website for voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations (VCSE), and the technology together with the advice provided by Calibre, is enabling the Eastland’s customer service team to boost property planning and management using portable devices during site visits.
Eastlands Housing is benefiting from the value engineered solutions Calibre provides which are manifest through improvements in customer service levels and the positive feedback from the frontline as the new system has come online.
The association is also seeing the value of high quality integrated services, and working in partnership with an adroit, skilled and value for money IT provider, to ensure that the future needs of both the HA and its customers are met.
“Our investment with Calibre will put fast and efficient digital services at the heart of our customer services, enabling frontline staff to have access to corporate resources wherever they are, whatever time of day.”
